　　《卖座大电影》是由EzioGreggio导演，他的电影通常是票房不俗的低劣喜剧。从意大利媒体的反应来看，这次似乎也不例外，虽然有3D的技术，外加拿梅尔·布鲁克斯(MelBrooks)风格作挡箭牌。在这部恶搞喜剧中，导演埃奇奥·格雷乔讲述了一个无厘头的穿越故事。不过主角却不是在历史中穿越，而是在各种不同类型的电影中穿越。这些电影都有一个共同的特点：都是卖座的大电影。这些被主角们穿越的电影有：《达芬奇密码》、《暮色》、《哈利·波特》、《佐罗》、《速度与激情》、《阿凡达》、《007》、《角斗士》等等。
